At Paige Turner Romance, originality and voice integrity are foundational to the work we produce.

Our clients trust us to deliver fully original, human-written romance fiction created by professional writers. To protect that trust—and to ensure clarity for everyone we work with—we maintain a clear policy regarding the use of artificial intelligence tools.

Our Position on AI in Creative Work

At this time, AI tools may not be used in the creative writing process for any Paige Turner Romance project.

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Drafting scenes, chapters, or dialogue

  • Generating plot, character arcs, or emotional beats

  • Rewriting or “polishing” prose

  • Producing intimacy scenes or descriptive passages

All submitted creative work must be entirely original and written by the assigned writer.

What This Policy Is (and Isn’t)

This policy is not a judgment on AI as a technology.

It exists to:

  • Protect client intellectual property

  • Ensure consistent narrative voice and quality

  • Support writers who are delivering original work

  • Maintain transparency and trust

We recognise that many writers use tools in different ways. For Paige Turner Romance projects, however, creative authorship must remain human-led and human-produced.

Permitted Uses (Non-Creative Only)

AI tools may be used outside the creative process for:

  • Spellcheck or grammar assistance

  • File formatting or document cleanup

  • Time management or organisational support

If you are unsure whether a tool or use case is acceptable, please ask before applying it to project work.

Disclosure & Responsibility

By accepting a project or trial with Paige Turner Romance, writers confirm that:

  • All submitted creative work is original

  • No AI tools were used to generate or rewrite prose

  • The work does not infringe on any third-party rights

Undisclosed AI-generated or AI-assisted creative work is considered a breach of contract and may result in termination of collaboration.
